History: wiki link, here there be spoilers
I also made this post detailing what choices are canon for this Robert. Like, not every single choices, but ones that are important for his character/his storyline. MAJOR spoilers here, like, have Blue read this.
Personality: The first thing you'd notice about Robert is that he's sarcastic, incredibly cynical, and honest to a fault. Despite being a super hero he is incredibly isolated from the rest of the world. Pre series, the world only knows him as Mecha man, when the suits off, he's just some lonely guy. Putting Robert at thirty-two which is within the canonical age range he can be would mean his father died at age seventeen, which is when he would have started acting as Mecha man himself, aka Mecha man Blue. Robert wasn't even a fully functioning adult in society when his father passed and his father left him an entire legacy to live up to. Because of the role of mecha man and all that entails Robert has entirely abandoned having any sort of regular life outside the suit. Pre series he exists in almost complete solitude with no surviving family or friends. This does change as the series progresses- he gets back in touch with Chase thanks to working at Dispatch and makes a motley family out of his other coworkers. But that hardly erases the isolation he lived in for a good almost half of his life. Robert also mentions suffering from seasonal depression as well as alluding to being passively suicidal.

Also, my Robert absolutely avenged his father by killing Shroud which is absolutely pertinent to his characterization!!! I play him as being pretty okay about having killed Shroud- he was a bad dude who would have kept killing and hurting other people- but Robert also knows he got deep satisfaction out of murdering him which is? Fucked up and he knows it. I do play a bit more of an Anti-hero Robert but to me there's like a reason he kept sacrificing everything he had and was to be a hero and it is because he genuinely wanted to help people. Robert is actively struggling with this hypocrisy- dude just killed Shroud from his canon point which would be almost directly post canon. (I haven't decided how Robert dies but wouldn't it be fucking funny if he got hit with an ambulance or a cop car directly post game and fucking eats shit after the entire fight scene- anyway.)

Robert is flawed but he is a flawed hero. He does use his past experiences as a hero to help others. He's actually Good At inspiring others to do good because he's real and honest with them and for the right people (The Z Team, Invisigal in particular lmao) that means a lot. He knows what to say that's like true but also motivating, he's not a bullshitter. I also think Robert is able to put a great deal of trust in others despite his exterior of sarcasm and empty-inside dead to the worldisms. He is one of the only people that trusts in and constantly puts faith in Invisigal. He's also a good judge of character in my opinion. If he rejects Coupe from the team his reason is 'she's kinda evil' and he's not like. Wrong in his assessment, while he doesn't say anything like that about Sonar, instead mentioning purely performance based reasons for letting go of Sonar. He also, once again, believes in Invisigal because damn someone's got to and she really IS NOT that bad lmao.

I'm also gonna throw this here and say that in his canon he didn't romance Blazer or Invisigal and that doesn't mean that I super dislike either character (would be willing to entertain a ship with almost any dispatch character tbh) I just deeply love the fact that we actually had a chance to abstain from romance in game. Not only do I love acearo spectrum Robert I also feel like in canon so much is happening for him within a weeks period of time and it's hard for me to imagine him forming a romantic relationship with anyone that fast after being isolated for fifteen years.

Initial Game Plan: He's going to be a banker. This is not a joke.
RP Interests: I want him to bounce off of new people. Be beneficial to others in that weird way that Robert is where he has the ability to be a genuinely good influence on people. Also want him to struggle with... end game spoilers : )
Preferred Job: He is going to work at the bank. This is not a joke.
NSFW-friendly?: Fuck yeah sure why not.
